Because these Reels have a narrower spool with an extra large core, a internally mounted crank and an outer diameter that is significantly larger compared to WWL's most powerful roles. The narrow spool prevents line rolling, while the inner crank and The additional circumference improves the retrieval speed. Combined these features with the classic Waterworks-Lamson style and the Attention to detail - plus the proven, maintenance-free braking system - and You have a race car from a role. An improved Coil construction - focusing the material only where it is needed is the reason why this current version is much lighter and more powerful than its predecessor.
